The most prestigious award ceremony is underway for the film industry. The 94th Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, is taking place in the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Further, this year’s ceremony saw one of the greatest siblings in tennis, Serena Williams and Venus Williams in attendance.
The movie, ‘King Richard’, based on the life of Serena and Venus’ father, Richard Williams, received a nomination in five categories at the Oscars. The people have widely appreciated the film. Moreover, the critics also acclaimed the film. It has gone on to win a number of laurels at other award functions. Further, as the Williams sisters graced the Oscars for this film, Beyonce’s performance left them speechless.

The superstar American singer opened the Oscars by performing ‘Be Alive’, a song from the King Richard film. It was a stunning performance by the Oscar-nominated singer, marking a perfect start to the ceremony. Subsequently, the Williams sisters were in awe of her performance.
Earlier, talking about Beyonce performing, Venus said, “I have nothing except, it’s Beyonce…It’s major, it’s so major.” The younger Williams sister reacted, saying, “It’s incredible, it really is so we’re we can’t wait to see it, we just we’re really just we just can’t wait. It’s going to be, I’m literally lost for words.”

Further, as the award ceremony progressed, King Richard film bagged another honor as Will Smith won the Oscar for the Best Actor. The American superstar played the role of Richard Williams in the film. It was an emotional moment for the Williams sisters, seeing their on-screen father win the Oscar.
