It is turning out to be a great day for Venus and Serena Williams. The King Richard film continued its glorious success at the BAFTA earlier today. Will Smith won the 2022 EE British Academy Film Award in the Leading Actor category. The Williams sisters are amongst the executive producers of the film.

Further, the 2022 Critics Choice Awards were also held today. Venus Williams and Serena Williams made their presence felt at the event in matching outfits. The two have enjoyed immense success on the court throughout their careers so far. While Serena has won 23 Grand Slam titles, the most in the Open Era, Venus has gone on to win seven major titles.

Additionally, they have also combined as a pair to win 14 Grand Slam doubles titles. Along with this, they have also added three Olympic gold medals in women’s doubles to their kitty. The Williams sisters have replicated their on-court partnership at various off-court events as well.

Venus Williams opens up on twinning with Serena Williams

The two sisters share a great relationship on and off the court. Earlier today, Serena and Venus wore matching silver outfits at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards. Speaking about the matching outfit with her sister, Venus said, “I know. Actually, Serena and I are twinning, we’re both wearing silver versace so on still doubles you know.”

Further, she was asked about the high energy on the red carpet. She said, “It is, we’re already having a good day in the King Richard family. We just won the BAFTA, so like we’re excited and it’s just an honor to be nominated. It’s here living my best life, that’s the best way to put it.”

The King Richard film continued to bag awards as it received yet another honor, this time at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards.
