The co-founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, and American tennis legend, Serena Williams, married in November 2017. The beautiful couple enjoy a loving relationship and are often involved in hilarious back-and-forths with each other on social media.

Recently, Ohanian shared a picture of himself holding Iron Man’s helmet. Following his post, Serena Williams immediately made fun of her husband with a hilarious comment.

Serena Williams makes fun of Alexis Ohanian

Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams‘ husband, expressed his sadness for the death of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The iconic role was played by Robert Downey Jr., the Hollywood star. Ohanian posted a photo holding Stark’s helmet with a caption, “Alas, poor Tony.”

Tony Stark died in the 2019 film, Avengers: End Game. It was the last film in the Avengers series and even though two years might not seem like a long time, in the minds of Marvel buffs, it’s been ages. Serena, who has on several occasions confessed that she’s a huge Marvel fan, didn’t let the opportunity to make fun of her husband go.

In the comments, she wrote, “Honey, you are late,” followed by a wink emoji.

When will Serena return to tennis?

Williams last competed professionally at the Wimbledon 2021, where she was forced to retire in the first round itself due to an injury. Since then, her fans across the world have been expectantly waiting for her return to the Tour.

Despite announcing earlier that she’ll participate at the Australian Open 2022, a few weeks ago, she confirmed her unavailability for the mega-event in Melbourne as her injury hadn’t yet healed.

We wish Serena Williams the best of luck for her return to the sport whenever she decides to make it.
