In September 2021, Raducanu played alongside the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, in an event. Raducanu described the Duchess as a wonderful inspiration in an interview.
Moreover, she confessed it was a dream come true to share the tennis court with Middleton. Both Kate Middleton and Prince William are ardent tennis fans.

Emma Raducanu, the US Open 2021 champion, had the opportunity to share the platform with the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, at a charity event in September. Both the Duke and Duchess are enthusiastic tennis fans and are often seen in the royal box during Wimbledon.
Recently, in an interview, Emma Raducanu discussed her notable experience of playing alongside Middleton. The 18-years-old admitted that it was an honor to greet the Duchess of Cambridge.

She said, ” I think the Duchess is such a great inspiration, just with how she handles everything and how she does so much good work for charities. It was a pretty surreal experience to be playing tennis with the Duchess.”
Raducanu said Middleton was extremely generous and kind. “It was kind of crazy, but she was really down to earth and normal. So I found it a really cool experience,” she further quoted. [h/t Yahoo.com]

Soon after triumphing at the US Open 2021, Raducanu received wishes from across the world. Everyone was truly impressed to see an 18-years-old pull off a dynamic victory.
