Chris Evert on whether Emma Raducanu can excel again
Tennis legend Chris Evert praised Emma Raducanu for her performance. She liked her technique and gameplay and believes the British player will do well in the future too. Evert said, “But she seems very sensible in her comments: ‘I’m still developing my game, I’m going to be patient.’ She’s saying all the right things.” She showed faith in Raducanu and stated, “If she believes them she’s going to be fine.”
When asked if Evert believed Raducanu can still win other slams, she said, “I wouldn’t call her a one-slam wonder. I like her technique–it’s very sound.” She complimented her technique and said, “I like her serve and ground strokes. She moves well.”
However, she questioned Raducanu’s zeal to clinch more titles. She said, “She’s got talent but how much does she want it? Is she chomping at the bit to win another one? Hunger is the main thing.”

How can Raducanu win more grand slam titles?

They have all pushed themselves to their limits to be the best. Raducanu did extremely well in the US Open 2021 but this year, the defending champion could not perform well. She lost to Alize Cornet and could not get past the first round of the US Open.
