Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams, is someone who handles quite a few ventures. As he invests in various companies with his venture capital business, Seven Seven Six, Ohanian and his cohorts use several tools for their work. With recent developments in AI chatbots, ChatGPT is one of the tools the Seven Seven Six Foundation uses. The business magnate recently talked about how and why he integrates AI into his work.

Prior to his current interview, Ohanian talked about integrating AI into his work with proper balance. He shared something written by AI which hammered the point that human touch cannot be replaced.

Serena Williams’ husband on the benefits of AI

As part of his job, Ohanian and his company create a lot of content. Sometimes the work piles up, and his employees can become overwhelmed with the workload. To make the situation better, Ohanian’s venture employs the use of AI chatbots. In an interview with Yahoo interview, Ohanian talked about how AI was going to impact industries worldwide.

He talked about how he and his peers have started using the software for their benefit. He stated that “We’ve incorporated GPT into the operating software that we use to run our firm… It’s making our lives easier.”

“There’s a ton of hype for sure, but there is a real significant technological shift,” he said as he compared it to the change when he founded Reddit. He further said, “I have not seen anything like this before in my career. It’s that big. Bigger than your smartphone, bigger than broadband ubiquity, certainly bigger than social media as much as it hurts my heart and ego, it’s bigger than all those.”

To further substantiate his claim, Ohanian recalled the time when he was involved in graphic design. He stated that he was given an illegal copy of Adobe Photoshop and understood that his output was going to improve by a huge margin. “My abilities as a graphic designer, albeit not the most professional, was going to increase 50x, 100x because of these tools, because of this software.

He likened his experience with Photoshop to the growth of AI and its implementation in the corporate world. “What this presents, what AI presents, I have the same feelings, but the order of the magnitude is so much bigger“.
