For three straight consecutive years, the team United States has reached the Bille Jean King Cup’s finals. However, this year the success is extra special as the team received a special compliment from America’s pride in tennis, Danielle Collins. This Miami Open 2024 winner showered her support for her country at the tournament and offered great enthusiasm for the finals.

Collins who bagged both the Miami Open and the Charleston Open titles this season took an extra effort to encourage Pegula, Navarro, and others as they qualified for the Billie Jean King Cup finals. Sharing the USTA’s Instagram post on Instagram Story, Danielle Collins wrote- “Let’s go!!!” Her caption also added the United States flag and a party emoji that perfectly channeled her motivation and enthusiasm for her country at the tournament.

Well, Collins’s praise for Team America is not an exaggeration given Jessica Pegula’s incredible performance. Pegula defeated Hanne Vandewinkel by 6-2 and 6-0 in Orlando to offer her team an inevitable 3-0 lead against Belgium. While according to Pegula, her match was “flat” at the beginning, she outperformed to ensure America’s entry to the finals. Following Pegula’s amazing performance, Danielle Collins couldn’t hold back but express her great enthusiasm to congratulate the team.

Danielle Collins revealed getting “spoiled” by Jessica Pegula

Danielle Collins shared receiving a special gift from friend and colleague Jessica Pegula while the duo were participating in the Indian Wells tournament. After making an official statement about retirement, Collins has been making rounds on the media with her posts. She previously gave fans a hint about her ideal retirement gift after beating Olivia Gadecki at the ATX Open. Collins wrote- “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, that’s all I’m going to say. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, so if anyone wants to get me some diamonds, I’m going to take them, honey,”

Now Collins’s post was seen by Pegula who showered her friend with a diamond necklace highlighted with Collins’ name’s first letter ‘D’. Receiving the gift, Collins wrote- “Thank you @jpegula for spoiling me!! I asked for some diamonds last week and @jpegula and @gorjana delivered,”
