Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams, shares a great bond with his daughter Olympia, as we often see them having a fun time on social media. We have seen Ohanian posting videos of making artistic pancakes for daughter Olympia, which she loves.

Recently, he told a story, where he took Olympia to the Waffle House in Cincinnati, one of his favorite places. However, Olympia had an interesting reaction, which he did not expect.

In a recent interview with ESPN, the Reddit co-founder talked about an interesting story and how he became an entrepreneur. Speaking about the Waffle House, Ohanian said, “Yeah, changed my life.“

“I had to take her (Olympia)… We were recently in, guess it would have been Ohio in Cincinnati and I found one near our house we were renting and I had to take her for breakfast. Waffle House is the place where while I was an undergrad at UVA, I walked out of an LSAT. I was gonna be a lawyer, I walked out of an LSAT 30 minutes into it because I was hungry for breakfast. And I went to the Waffle House, I’m 29, sat down, ordered a waffle and some hash browns,” Ohanian added.

“As I was sitting down there, I realize ‘I clearly should not be a lawyer. Instead, I should probably be an entrepreneur, just figure things out’. Honestly, that’s what led me to start Reddit… So, I needed Olympia, now that she is of age, she’s five, so she is making core memories. I needed to make sure she was ready to experience Waffle House for the first time. She liked it; I’m worried I might have hyped it up too much, but she had a good time,” Ohanian further added. 

Although Olympia did not like the Waffle House, she does like her father’s pancakes. Recently, he shared another story on his official Instagram account, where he was making artistic pancakes for Olympia.

Olympia stole the show during Serena Williams’ retirement match at the US Open

Meanwhile, we have recently seen Olympia appear in the Arthur Ashe Stadium supporting her mother, Serena Williams, as she was playing the last tournament of her career. She was wearing matching outfits with her mother and completely stole the show.

Moreover, Olympia appeared in pretty much all of Serena’s matches at the US Open. Notably, Serena lost in the third round of the US Open and ended her career on an emotional note.

After that, we have seen both Serena and Olympia appear in the New York Fashion Week, as Serena is slowly experiencing life away from tennis. However, fans are still not giving up as they are hoping to see the 23-time Grand Slam champion make a comeback on the tennis court in the future.
