Serena Williams accepted to not being much of a team player

All the legends were in a room discussing what makes a player standout from the rest. Derek Jeter, the iconic baseball player, said, “I think if you look at all the people here, you rise to the occasion when your team or individual sport when you need to do it the most.”

To this, the interviewer asked if doing that is easier or harder in an individual sport. Replying to the question, the legendary basketball player, Michael Jordan, said, “I think it’s harder.” At the same time, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, who had not said much until then, jumped in and revealed, “I couldn’t play with teammates.”

Serena went ahead and gave her reasoning for the same. She said, “I am selfish and I couldn’t rely on anyone else. I couldn’t play with teammates.”
