One great thing fans witnessed about Elina Svitolina is her never-ending love for her country Ukraine. For example, the Svitolina Foundation organized a tennis match for Ukrainian children. Although the tournament ended on a bad note with air raids and an award ceremony being held in a bomb shelter, this tennis star is not scared at all. Mentioning Stefanos Tsitsipas, Svitolina said- “Stefanos Tsitsipas made a donation to my foundation, I am very grateful to him.”

Not only Tsitsipas but Iga Shvyontek also presented an example of her beautiful heart. This popular tennis player donated hugely to Svitolina’s foundation. This donation further helped to organize children’s camps in Ukraine. For this generous act, Svitolina commented about Shvyontek saying- “I Can Count on the Fingers of My Hands Who DonatedThe big heart of Iga Shviontek. The world’s first racket organized a charity event and collected 2 million zlotys for refugee children from Ukraine.” Isn’t that a beautiful gesture?

However, she also added that not all tennis players are really vested in the issue. These players are now probably used to this European conflict. Now they can’t be blamed since it has been more than a year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Svitolina mentioned that these people do ask her about friends and family in Ukraine but nothing more significant than that. But that is not impacting the Ukrainian tennis star at all!  This is because the Charleston Tournament, Dutch Bleiswijk Open organizers, and Mubadala Citi DC Open organizers raised their support for Svitolina’s foundation.
