Serena Williams has been out of the court since last year’s Wimbledon. The 7-time champion at SW19 retired midway in the first round. After she suffered a leg injury. The American was speculated to make a comeback in some tournaments in the following months. However, wanting to give proper healing to the injury, Williams withdrew from all the tournaments.

Even though Serena is not back on the professional circuit yet, a throwback video of her surfaced over the internet. In the video, Serena was spotted playing tennis with two random men. Serena was out on a walk with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. Passing by a tennis court, Serena saw two players indulged in some serious hitting on the court. That’s when the World champion decided to give the two men the biggest surprise, a tennis player could dream of.

Out for a walk, Serena spotted the two men playing points. Willing to play, she, along with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, decided to ask the men if she could play along with them. She said, “I think they are in the middle of playing points. I’m asking if I can hit a winner.”

Wanting to surprise the men, Serena didn’t want her to be recognized by the two. However, sounding as bad as living in a country and not knowing its leader, it was impossible for the men to not recognize Williams. Living their dream, the men didn’t blink a second to recognize the 23-time grand slam champion. In a state of shock, both the players seemed blown away seeing Serena Williams in front of them-“Is it Serena?”, “Holy Goodness” “Wow” “What?” – were some reactions of the two men.

She went on asking the two, “Who won?” to which one of them replied that he won 2 out of 3. Asking the two if she could join them, she showed them her shoes saying, “I don’t have on my Nikes but these would work.”

Being filmed by her husband Alexis, she laughed saying “Don’t do this at home.” Alexis further went on explaining that Serena just wanted to go for a walk, but instead stopped to play tennis. He ended filming Serena with her message that said, “So the moral of the story is, you never know when I could be coming to a tennis court near you.”

Hoping to get a better result, Serena tried her luck at The Championships Wimbledon. However, she fell to her dreams as she was forced to retire in the first round after suffering a hamstring injury. Since the injury, Williams has been out of court.
