Naomi Osaka has a huge fanbase who stands by her no matter what. Therefore, whenever the Miami Open’s finale started falling into Iga Swiatek’s embrace, a cheer full of energy arrived. She later expressed her gratitude to the fans for their support.

Even though Naomi couldn’t claim the title, she seemed content. Post her match while speaking to the press, she addressed a variety of things along with how much she values the support of her fans. The Japanese said, I would say like I’m like really grateful for it. It kind of almost made me cry, but I don’t want to cry in public anymore. So I was holding it in.”

Osaka confessed the same by saying, “It meant a lot to me. I feel like aside from like winning and losing, I appreciated the fact that people were happy to see me like playing again or happy to see me happy. So I appreciated it like on a human-being basis.”

However, Osaka, being an experienced player, converted the disrespect into motivation and gave her best performance of the season in the Miami Open.
