Will Serena Williams make a comeback? Is the legend’s career in tennis over? Or is it possible that she has unfinished business on the WTA Tour? Her biggest fan, who is hoping to make her mark on the tennis circuit, 18-year-old Coco Gauff has something to say about the American tennis legend’s return to the tennis court. 

The 23-time Grand Slam Champions’ comeback remains a far-fetched possibility. As for now, she is busy with her business ventures. And is focusing on her family, creating everlasting memories with her adorable five-year-old daughter.

The French Open finalist, who is ready to take over the Billie Jean King Cup, in a question-and-answer session with The Palm Beach Post, answered a lot of tennis-related questions. During the conversation, she was also questioned about whether the 23-time Grand Slam winner had truly retired from tennis. Or if there was any hope for her to play again.

She said, “I go with whatever Serena says but I doubt the U.S. Open will be the last thing. But she’s hinted at returning and hinted at not returning. I’m going by her last interview saying she wasn’t. You’d think that would be final but if she changes her mind, I’m sure she’ll do what she wants regardless of public opinion.”

Another tennis player who feels Williams is not done with tennis 

The Japanese tennis player, Naomi Osaka, who literally saw her idol retire in front of her. In an interview in December, she talked about the former world number-one’s evolution away from the sport.

Notably, the Japanese tennis star was delighted to attend the American tennis legend’s final match as a fan.
