Last month marked the final moments of Serena Williams on the tennis court as a professional tennis player. The 23-time Grand Slam champion retired after playing in the US Open. She had a third-round exit at the tournament, losing against Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia.

Despite being away from tennis, Serena has had a busy schedule after her retirement from the sport. Recently, she made an appearance at one of the rock shows in Florida.

Earlier this week, the Reddit co-founder and Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, took to Twitter to react after Serena’s appearance in the Alice in Chains concert along with her sister, Venus. He said, “I even let mama borrow my lucky shirt.”

Serena and Venus were spotted rocking out and singing along at the rock event in West Palm Beach, Florida. Moreover, the Williams sisters are big fans of the veteran grunge act. They were present at the front and side of the stage during the event.

Subsequently, the band’s singer, William DuVall and bassist, Mike Inez, both shared pictures with the Williams sisters on Instagram.

The Reddit co-founder is the lead investor in the NWSL club, Angel City FC. The club has managed to achieve massive off-field success, becoming the most valuable club in the league. However, on the field, the club is positioned in the eighth spot in the NWSL standings, being far away from the playoffs qualification.

Reacting to this, Alexis took to Twitter and said, “We gotta score 16 goals on Sunday to make the playoffs??” However, Angel City FC lost their last group stage match 2-0 against Chicago Red Stars to bow out of the playoffs race.
