In her recent social media activity, Coco Gauff took to her Instagram to leave several comments on a carousel Sera posted. Gauff is no stranger to commenting on Sera’s posts. In fact, she’s left at least one in almost every one of his posts. However, amidst all the comments Gauff has posted on Sera’s uploads, a moment of pure love unfolded under this particular one.

First, she commented, “yayyyyy.” Another comment (which evoked Sera’s response filled with love) read, “grid posttttt.” In response to this comment, Jalen Sera wrote, “@cocogauff, you know I had to do it for you ;)” making everyone’s hearts melt. But that wasn’t all. Apart from these two comments, and more interestingly, she posted emojis of a moon and a chain, pointing to the necklace Sera was wearing.

Another sign that points to Coco Gauff’s love for Jalen Sera? On a guitar cover that the musician posted more than four years ago, the 19-year-old commented four weeks ago, “I have a crush on you.”

Coco Gauff is a US Open champion partly because of her boyfriend

Back at the French Open in 2022, the night before the finals, Coco Gauff revealed she spent too much time envisioning herself lifting the trophy. This eventually backfired, and she lost the chance to win her first Grand Slam in straight sets. However, coming into the US Open, she was determined not to repeat the same mistake from Paris. That’s where her boyfriend played a significant role.

To distract herself the night before she became champion, she kept talking to her boyfriend until she fell asleep. This helped her stay calm and focused, and she eventually gave her 100% on the court. “I told him, ‘Let’s talk until it’s time to go to sleep,’ so we spoke until 1:00 a.m., and then I went to sleep,” said Gauff in an interview.

Whoever this secret boyfriend is, love is definitely in the air for Coco Gauff. With a bright future ahead of her and an understanding partner, she looks like she’s having the time of her life.
