“I will be involved, especially the way things are going right now. The conservative party is too strong,” she further added. Notably, Arnold Schwarzenegger became the governor of California in 2003, as he inspired many others, including Navratilova.
Although Navratilova retired in 2006 with some tremendous records to her name, she did not become a politician as of now, but could still become one in the future. Even though she was Czechoslovakian by birth, she acquired American citizenship in 1981.
Before that, she fled from her country at just 18 years of age under difficult circumstances. As a result, she lost her Czech citizenship, which she regained again in 2008.
Martina could become a coach once again
After her retirement, she used to work with various networks as an expert analyst, and she is still doing that. Then, she appeared on various podcasts, trying to express her views about tennis matches and tell stories from her career.

It is worth noting that Navratilova has had a coaching stint in 2015 when she joined the coaching team of the former Polish player, Agnieszka Radwanska. However, that stint did not last long, as she parted ways with Radwanska just after five months.
At the moment, her focus is on providing commentary and analysis of tennis matches, which she seems to enjoy doing so, as her love for the game still remains.
