Recently, Badosa gave an interview. She spoke on various topics, right from the topic of engagement and heading towards the prospect of being a favorite to go deep into tournaments in the future.
Speaking on the subject, Paula stated, “I was just joking! Right now, I have too many things to think about. I had a text from him, and he was, like, ‘You put so much pressure on me! Now I don’t have any other option!’ Maybe in the future. I’m still young. First I want to focus on tennis.”

Coming to tennis, Paula began her season in Australia. She competed at the Adelaide event and followed it by competing in Sydney. She did not perform well in Adelaide. However, she went on to win the title in Sydney. During the event, she managed to knock out some of the top players in the game.

Following that, Badosa competed at the Australian Open but just managed to make it past the second week into the fourth round. At the moment, she is gearing herself to compete at the Indian Wells 2022.
