Serena Williams made her long-awaited comeback yesterday. The legendary American player was up against the challenge of 24-year-old Frenchwoman Harmony Tan. Speaking about her performance, the 23-time Grand Slam champion looked satisfied with her efforts. Also, commenting on her fitness, she said she is absolutely fine.
“Like I said, physically I was fine. I started to feel a bit more tired in the last few points, but I moved well and returned quite a few balls. Also in training, I’m moving well. It didn’t surprise me, because I knew I was doing the right things,” she said.
