‘I Need Earphones’ – Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams’ Daughter Olympia Cheers for Her Father’s Soccer Club

Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, is a successful entrepreneur and also a very active investor. Adding to that, the 38-year-old is also a sports enthusiast. Therefore, he often uses his knowledge of sports to nourish his investment side.

Not to forget he is a devoted husband to the tennis ace, Serena Williams, and a doting father to Olympia. Thus, he always keeps them in consideration whenever deciding on anything.

That is why he took the chance when the time was ripe and made the four-year-old the co-owner of Angel city football club.

Alexis and Olympia earlier posted a video on his Instagram handle in order to generate awareness about the newly formed women’s soccer team Angel city football club. The video helped to sell over 15000 season tickets. Here’s the conversation between the little one and her father asking people to support their team.

Olympia- “Oh alright.”

Alexis- “You wanna tell everybody to have their seat deposits in for angel city?”

Olympia- “Yes, but I need earphones.”

Alexis- “Oh darn, obviously, here you go. Alright, you talk in microphone and you say hey everyone.”

There are 22000 seats in the stadium, which are up for sale. With the sale of every ticket, a sports bra from Nike would be provided to a young girl in need.

Ohanian and His Daughter’s Competition

The clip of the duo promoting the very first club owned by the four-year-old proved itself effective. Therefore, to maximize the reach, Alexis posted the video on LinkedIn. However, there is something new this time. Alexis and Olympia seem to have a dispute as to who brought more people to sign in. Therefore, Ohanian jokingly asked people to mention who they got influenced by and said, “Let’s hope they hit hashtag team Alexis when they do, so I get credit for it so papa wins.”

Angels city football team was announced on July 21, 2020, and it will start taking part in leagues this year onwards. Furthermore, the team has many high-profile owners such as Natalie portman and Becky G along with the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams.
