She wrote- “I ripped my skirt at practice today bc I got incredible upset, but I came out stronger. Sometimes you have to do it the hard way. Sometimes I forget how much resilience sports gives you. The practice courts are a intense place! It’s funny now but I was not laughing at the time. I keep learning so much from this sport, about life and about myself. SPort is the greatest teacher!”

Venus Williams opened up about Tennis being a help in her body consciousness
This former world’s number-one tennis star spoke about how this sport never made her conscious about her body issues. Williams commented in a recent interview- “I was so focused on my game that I didn’t even know to feel conscious. I was so focused on what my body can do for me, and not what it looked like. And if you could keep your focus away from that, you focus more on how you’re performing, how you’re getting better the next day.”
After this, Venus Williams delved deeper into how sports helped her focus on important things. She said- “When you’re an athlete, all you think about and all you’re obsessed with is that incremental moment of improving. And your mindset shifts. I didn’t even know to think about those things because my focus was elsewhere, so it’s so powerful to have your focus somewhere else.”
