Seeing your role model retire to whom you have looked up to while growing up is a big thing. The same goes for Naomi Osaka when she saw her idol Serena Williams evolve from the sport earlier this year. The four-time Grand Slam champion recently made a clear administration about how she felt about her role model Serena Williams getting evolved from the sport.

Not only Osaka but her father was also inspired by the Williams sisters. And took inspiration to teach their daughters how to play tennis. 

What Naomi Osaka believes about Serena Williams leaving tennis?

The 24-year-old tennis player is currently busy promoting her children’s book “The way Champs play”. And to talk about her new role, the Japanese tennis player was recently invited to a chat show with ‘Hoda & Jenna’. She was asked about how she felt seeing her role model in her last dance and evolving from the sport. However, the four-time Grand Slam champion gave a surreal response to the question. And might have made a huge revelation about what she believes might come along.

She said, “Um, to me it feels definitely surreal, and I’m almost like, I think she’s coming back. But you know, how are you just like? This can’t be happening or anything. So one of the Moments for me I am really grateful that she told everyone, so we at least got a chance to watch her.”
