Ukrainian tennis star Elina Svitolina didn’t particularly start well in the year 2022. She lost to Victoria Azarenka in the third round at the Australian Open. Later, her performance in both Dubai and Qatar wasn’t great either.

Despite all of that, she is spreading awareness through a campaign for those who have a rare disease. On her social media, the Ukrainian player posted a video explaining all the details about her campaign.

Elina Svitolina raises awareness for people with rare diseases
Elina Svitolina, the 15th-ranked WTA player, is pretty popular on social media. Especially on Instagram, as she posts videos of her entertaining reels regularly. Currently, she has 844k followers on Instagram, which is a pretty good number. Now, she is using her social media for a good cause.

“Hi guys, you know how important for me to train every day to achieve my lifetime goals, but today I wanna tell you about bigger challenge. On February 28, there will be a rare disease day, where we can come together and support people with a rare disease,” Svitolina said about her campaign about rare disease.

On 28th February, people can connect with one another from all over the world and talk about their rare diseases. There will also be a pre-recorded seminar for people to learn more about rare diseases.

Will Elina Get her form back?
Recently, Svitolina lost to Jil Teichmann in the second round of the Dubai Open. Later, the Ukrainian tennis player lost to Tereza Martincova in the first round of the Qatar Open.

In 2018, Svitolina won the WTA Finals, still her best achievement on the tour. Before that, in 2017, Svitolina achieved her career-high ranking no.3. To reach that level again, she must win a few tournaments to get her form and confidence back. Winning a few tournaments will help her in the future and help her perform well in the Grand Slam events.
