Sofia Kenin was one of the youngest Americans to win a Grand Slam women’s singles title. She won her maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in 2020. The only American to achieve this before, at such a young age, was Serena Williams in 1999.

Subsequently, she carried her form into the French Open, finishing second best to Iga Swiatek. Since her raging success early on in 2020, Sofia Kenin’s career has not continued its meteoric rise since then as she may have hoped. Recently, in an interview, she shared her happy moments of meeting Mike Tyson and his daughter Mila Tyson.
