The blooming friendship between Coco Gauff and Zendaya has caught a lot of attention from their fans lately. Especially after Zendaya revealed how much she wants to meet Coco Gauff during her Challengers press tour. When she heard it, Gauff couldn’t help but express her joy on the matter. Adding more to that story, she recently revealed how her connection with Zendaya runs deeper than that.

“I have been watching her since Disney Channel. Since I was a kid, I was watching her on shake it up. And K.C. undercover,” said Coco of Zendaya. Coco Gauff continued by expressing her respect for Zendaya’s professional path, which she compared to her own shift from youthful stardom to a more responsible persona. “Then once I got older and seeing the transition, like both of us kind of transition. And I was allowed to watch Euphoria, and then now Challenger.”

Gauff’s coach, Brad Gilbert prepped Zendaya and co-stars for their tennis roles in the upcoming movie, with the help of US Open champ insights. Although Coco Gauff has not seen Zendaya’s latest movie, ‘Challengers,’ as of yet, she opened up about how she wants to keep the movie on her list to watch later. “I already know I’m going to love it, I’m really curious to see how the tennis scenes look,” Gauff said in Madrid on Thursday.
