Genie Bouchard shared her childhood stories with the host in a vibrant podcast. Bouchard is currently undergoing rehabilitation, but at least she seems to have found a way to fill the void. The tennis expert is providing insight into the tennis competitions in the USA.

Canadian tennis player Genie Bouchard was successful to captivate the tennis world. She was the first Canadian tennis player to reach the Top 5 in Singles competition. This glamorous player is much more complex than she appears.
Genie Bouchard shares her dynamic childhood memories
In the podcast, the host sat down with tennis player Genie Bouchard to talk about her childhood, her nerves on the court and in practice, and her wild nights in New York City. Bouchard’s high-risk, aggressive style of play is centered on her potent groundstrokes. Bouchard’s ability to hit the ball hard, flat, and early in her swing during her breakout season in 2014 was highly praised by fans.
Although Bouchard defeated Yuki Naito of Japan in the US Open qualifying rounds, she was eliminated in the second round. For the Chennai Open, Bouchard was given a wildcard. After winning two sets in a row, she advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the podcast, Bouchard was quoted as, “Every other kid was normal, I was abnormal. I would go crying to my parents, as they would only allow me to hit tennis balls for 10 minutes. Then they would say okay, she is weird. Then I started getting private lessons.”

She further added, “You see a difference, like if the kid has talent and attitude.” Since her 17-month absence from the sport of tennis due to a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery, the tennis star has been working toward a comeback.
Bouchard withdrew from a significant Challenger appearance
‘Genie’, a former Wimbledon finalist, has pulled out of the 2022 Calgary National Bank Challenger due to illness. She was grateful that the tournament had given her a wildcard entry. Not being able to take part made her sad. Bouchard appreciated the opportunity to compete and is eager to return to Canadian soil soon.
