Serena Williams complimented her doctor for making a bold decision
Serena always knew how to handle things on the court. However, that was something she did not know while giving birth to Olympia. The former world no.1 once detailed the horrid details of her childbirth in an essay that she penned for Elle in April 2022. She wrote, “Outside my birthing room, there were meetings going on without me—my husband was conferencing with the doctors.” Serena narrated her point of view and said, “By this point, I was more than ready for the epidural, but after 20 minutes, the doctor walked in, looked at me, and said, “We’re giving you a C-section”.”
