Naomi Osaka took the tennis realm by storm after announcing her pregnancy. Her performance has been the point of debate for quite some time now, but now an old video has resurfaced posing more questions about her future.

Osaka made a name for herself not only by winning four Grand Slam titles but also by raising mental health awareness. She has always kept herself as the priority. Along the same lines, she once talked about what would her future probably look like if she ever has a baby.
Naomi Osaka once talked about her future plans after having a kid
The Japanese player has become the talk of the town after announcing that she is pregnant with her boyfriend Cordae. Fans from all over the world have congratulated the player. However, recently a video resurfaced from 2020 where she talked about what her future on court might look like if she has a kid.

In a US Open press conference, Osaka said, “Honestly, that is so far ahead in the future, I haven’t really thought about it.”
What she did not consider at that point was the fact that it is not so far ahead in the future.

Furthermore, she said, “But I think if I miss the atmosphere and the fans that much maybe if I do have a kid, I might want to come back for one year.”
And the only reason would be, she said, “Simply just because I really love the sport.”
Now, it has become a serious question. Will Osaka really leave the court after making a short-term comeback? Or maybe her love for the sport make her stay for a longer time.
Osaka put to rest the controversy around her Australian Open withdrawal
Osaka announced her Australian Open withdrawal. Consequently, that brought a lot of heat to the Japanese player. However, she did not delay the good news too much and announced her pregnancy.
