In the end, it was that same old story! After starting the match on a positive note, Coco Gauff let it slip midway during her encounter against Iga Swiatek at the Italian Open. As a result, she succumbed to her 10th loss against the Polish star in 11 outings. Additionally, the semifinal match between them wasn’t short on controversy. As if the argument with the chair umpire during the encounter was not enough, Gauff caught eyeballs with her shocking act against an Iga Swiatek fan.
