Collins prevailed in the second set, 6-3, to tie the game after losing the opening set, 4-6. Even in the third and decisive set, the former number 7 player was 4-1 up, as it also made her Polish opponent think that she was “at the airport already.” However, Swiatek somehow later turned the match in her favor, as she has now broken many American hearts at the Grand Slam event.
