Now, it seems like she will take part in a match with the former legendary Polish player Agnieszka Radwanska. Also, Ukrainian superstar Elina Svitolina will oversee the match.

Iga Swiatek will play against Agnieszka Radwańska to support Elina Svitolina’s new fundraising initiative

Recently, Svitolina announced that she became the new ambassador for UNITED24, a fundraising initiative to support the people of Ukraine. Former Ukrainian footballer Andriy Shevchenko was the first ambassador.

“Every time I won on the court, I was happy to bring victory to my country. I have always been proud to be Ukrainian. Today, when my country is facing a horrific enemy, I will not stand aside. I will do my best to help Ukraine win its most important fight. I am honored to become part of UNITED24 and join efforts with the President of Ukraine,” Svitolina said.

After her appointment as the ambassador, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a charity match that will feature the current world number one Iga Swiatek and the former Polish player Agnieszka Radwanska.

The match will reportedly take place on the 23rd of July in Krakow, Poland. Also, many reports are coming through that Radwanska and Swiatek will headline the match with Svitolina as the chair umpire. However, Radwanska’s participation is not yet confirmed, but there’s a good chance that she will play the charity match.
