Alexis Ohanian is many things – an entrepreneur, a social media personality, and a venture capital investor. However, few recognize that he is quite humble as well. He has been touted by his followers several times on social media, but the Brooklyn native does not let it affect his personality. It was also shown in a Twitter post where he was praised by one of his followers and compared to Serena Williams. But the business magnate decided to play it down. 

His followers are not the only ones who have noticed his good qualities. Oracene Price was thoroughly impressed by Ohanian when he met her to ask permission for her hand in marriage. His kind attitude and well-mannered behavior helped Price in believing that he was the right man for her daughter.  

Alexis Ohanian brushes off Serena Williams comparison

Every social media user enjoys the likes they get on their posts. They become even more special when one of the person’s idols notices and likes the post. Alexis Ohanian surfs online quite often and is not shy about pressing the like button. During his normal surfing time, he liked the post of someone who follows him. Thoroughly happy with the attention, Narbe Alexandrian, CEO of Define Captial, shared a picture of the like on their Twitter feed.

Alexandrian felt elated at Ohanian liking his tweet and called him the GOAT. He wrote in the caption, “🙏🙏The feeling you get on a Friday afternoon when the 🐐 (@alexisohanian) tosses a “like” on your tweet. 🔥🔥.“

As he had tagged Ohanian, the entrepreneur took notice of the praise and decided to retain his humble persona. He wrote, “I’m not the goat but working on it.”

This move of Ohanian will shine a light of adoration on him once again. Along with this moment, Oracene Price’s recollection of an experience with Ohanian proves his innocence.

Oracene Price opened up about her sweet son-in-law

After dating for two years, the Reddit co-founder knew it was time to pop the big question to Serena Williams. He was in a strong relationship with her at the time and marriage was all but final. But before he asked her to marry him, Ohanian sought permission from her mother. In a 2017 interview, Price remembered a simple gesture which helped her make the decision.

She recalled that Ohanian found a shirt that Williams was unable to find. The 40-year-old won over Price with that gesture and now has a child with Williams, with another on the way.
