Muguruza’s terrible 2022
Last year, the Spanish player had a terrific outing on the tour; she won three singles titles, including the WTA Finals. However, this year, she has been in terrible form starting from the Australian Open. In that tournament, she reached only the second round. In the French Open, she could not even go past the first round.

Apart from that, her form was not great in other WTA tournaments as well. The only good result came at the Qatar Open, where she was able to win two consecutive matches for the first time this season. Despite that, she is hopeful of turning things around in the next six months as the season is not over yet.
