American tennis legend Serena Williams recently finished her professional career. Over the years, the legendary sister duo of Serena and Venus have ruled the court. While Serena has hung her racket, Venus Williams is still active. Although, the 42-year-old has made it clear that she is done playing for this year.

Meanwhile, Venus is quite active on social media and recently came up with a new video on her YouTube channel. The former world number 1 was in a chat with her coach Eric Hechtman, where the two discussed the most unprofessional things in tennis.

Eric and Venus discuss players breaking rackets in frustration

According to Eric Hechtman, the most unprofessional thing to do in the middle of a tennis match is to break the racket in frustration. However, the seven-time Grand Slam champion had a different and rather funny take on it. Here’s the conversation between Venus and Eric.

Eric: “Smashing the racket, I would say. My opinion on that is there are people who can’t afford rackets, and it’s not your racket’s fault that you lost. It’s your fault.”

To this Venus playfully asked, “So is that what you were thinking when Serena destroyed rackets?
She has destroyed one or two in her time.”

Eric dodged the question, saying “No Comments”. Further, the former world number 1 gave her funny opinion on her opponents breaking the racket in a match. “I love to see someone smash their racket. Especially against me. It’s like oh just come go ahead come undone, just unravel and it’s like this is all my doing and I’m the puppet master. Dance!! Like I’m Geppetto,” Venus said. While Eric is absolutely right about this, Venus turned the serious matter into a funny topic.

Venus Williams spoke about her single life

While Serena Williams married Alexis Ohanian back in 2017 and has a 5-year-old daughter, Venus is single for a long time. The 42-year-old recently spoke about the same. Venus said that it was easy for her to live her life that way and she is stuck with it. However, the 42-year-old is now planning to make a change.

Further, the legend said that she is not seeking a relationship. However, she is open to whatever comes in the future. Venus has not played any competitive tennis match after the US Open 2022. She is expected to make a return next year as the 42-year-old revealed in a fan interaction that she will not play any more tennis this year.
