A recent tooth problem forced Serena Williams to withdraw from the Miami Open 2021. Her 2021 season got off to a great start as she reached the semifinals of the Australian Open 2021. Even at 39, she still has a lot of tennis left in her and will look forward to making an incredible comeback on the court soon.
In a recent interview with Stuart Weitzman, Serena Williams offered some valuable advice to people, especially women, on how they can make some bold moves in their lives.
“Sometimes we’re placed in a position where we have to make bold moves every day,” began Serena. “It could be my tennis career where I have to decide in a nanosecond like okay this is a huge chance that I’m gonna take on this huge point.”

Williams enlisted her own experiences of when she took some bold decisions in her life. She even believes that Stuart Weitzman’s decision of starring Olympia alongside her in the campaign was also a bold move.
“Honestly, I think because I’ve been put in that position so many times that I’ve been able to make other bold moves- my philanthropy as well as my business ventures, even starring in the Stuart Weitzman campaign.
“It was a super bold move to have in it, by you guys as well, to have a three-year-old. I mean it was really bold. I didn’t expect it to come in from you all,” added the American legend.
“Always voice your opinions”- Serena Williams
Serena is just not an athlete but an ambassador of the sport as well. She highlighted that in order to make a bold move, it is really important to voice opinions in a respectful way. She also reflected that bold moves happen every day and one doesn’t need to be a tennis player to go about doing so.

“I also think it’s really important to always voice your opinions and voice in obviously, in a respectful way. But, voice ideas, ideas that you have because they could become amazing…Bold moves happen every day in all walks of life.
“It doesn’t have to be me. You don’t have to be a professional tennis player, an athlete you know to have bold moves. It can happen every single day,” concluded the 23-time Grand Slam winner.
