Rick Macci is the name behind many successful tennis stars. The 67-year-old has served as the coach of an elite list of legendary tennis players. Venus and Serena Williams, Andy Roddick, Jennifer Capriati, and Maria Sharapova were a few of her celebrity clients.

Macci has worked with many young tennis stars who became world-beaters. One such player at his academy was, tennis star, Maria Sharapova. Recalling her prowess in the early days, the American praised her for having the best focus even at an age of 11.

Maria Sharapova announces pregnancy

Although the 35-year-old retired back in 2020, she is still one of the most widely followed tennis stars. The former world number 1 is quite active on social media and keeps sharing her whereabouts with her fans.

Earlier this year in April, on the occasion of her 35th birthday, Sharapova surprised her fans by announcing her pregnancy. She took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of herself, flaunting the baby bump. Further, she wrote in the caption,

Sharapova has been a top-class athlete and left behind a legacy when she retired. However, many still believe that it was too early for the Russian, but the 35-year-old has planned her life away from tennis perfectly.
