Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, on the other hand, is coming to the WTA 1000 tournament after her quarterfinal finish at the San Diego Open. The Russian tennis star, who is the 22nd seed, defeated her Spanish opponent, Nuria Parrizas-Diaz, with a score of 6-3, 6-1.
Haddad Maia vs Pavlyuchenkova: Head-to-Head
The round-of-32 match between Haddad Maia and Pavlyuchenkova at the BNP Paribas Open will also mark their third meeting on the WTA circuit.
