This former US Open champion shared a photo on her official Instagram story. In this photo, Gauff’s fans saw a heartwarming message from a fan. This message read- “Coco, thanks for being an amazing role model! You were one heck of a fighter tonight. We sure love you! Love the Rowley family from Utah,” Fans also saw Gauff dropping her gratitude in the form of a caption, which read- “Thank you to the Rowley family for giving me this while at the drive-thru at In-N-Out. And they paid for my meal. Always positives even in the losses. Human connections like this mean a lot especially after tough matches so thank you! 

Fans’ amazing hospitality for Coco Gauff received a huge limelight since the official X (formerly Twitter) page of the Tennis Channel also shared the news. They added a caption that delighted tennis fans’ hearts. It read- “A family gave @CocoGauff a note and paid for her meal. Kindness wins.”

How did Coco Gauff lose her ticket to the ongoing Indian Wells tournament’s finals?

Greek WTA star Maria Sakkari had a tough game against Coco Gauff. However, the former outshined the former US Open champion to receive her victory. Sakkari started with a lead of 5-2 before Gauff hit back with three match points. This gave Gauff a tiebreak in the second set.

However, Sakkari was determined and finally defeated Gauff by 6-4, 6-7(5) and 6-2 to reach the finals. After this, Sakkari will join Iga Swiatek in the finals. Nevertheless, Gauff played and tried her best to impress the fans that came to cheer for her.
