Emma Raducanu gave her fans a perfect New Year gift after she announced her comeback to the sport after a long injury. The British sensation, who last played in April last year suggested that she would love to make her comeback before the Australian Open. Currently playing in the ASB Classic, the 21-year-old has started her campaign on a good note.

However, recent reports suggest that Raducanu could be at the risk of a potential injury yet again. A recent post shared on Twitter has made many wonder if the young gun is down from yet another injury.

Emma Raducanu was finally back on the tennis court after being away because of an injury. But now, concerns are being raised about another possible injury. In a recent revelation, Raducanu has been seen practising with bandages on her thighs. This has made some fans wonder if she might be dealing with another injury.

Currently playing in ASB Classic, she has made her way all the way to the round of 16. Bandages on the thighs could also mean that she might not want to risk herself just days after making a comeback and could be seen as a  precautionary step. However, nothing could be confirmed as of now and her fans would be waiting for a final confirmation.

Fans are hoping it’s nothing serious and that Raducanu will stay healthy as she continues playing. They want her to do her best without any more health problems.

Despite looming injury concerns, Emma Raducanu believes that she was happy to make a comeback and felt healthy.

Raducanu reveals how she felt after making a comeback

After winning her first-round match, Raducanu came ahead and said that she was grateful to be healthy. Not only this but she also suggested that she felt nice as she was able to move her body instead of simply lying on a bed or a wheelchair.

“It’s difficult after having such a long hiatus, but I’m grateful to be healthy, grateful to be able to move my body, not bed-ridden and in a wheelchair. It’s amazing to be out here and playing. I’m just really happy to be back on the tour. Can’t wait to start this season and carry on, hopefully injury-free & healthy. I can’t wait to be out here, start this season and be happy and healthy,” said Raducanu.

Thus Emma Raducanu, who made her comeback to the court suggested that she was very happy to play the sort again. While her recent practice session showing she was taped, has certainly raised some concern among the fans, she will be hoping to give her best on the court and remain consistent.
