Serena Williams is synonymous with American tennis. The former World Number 1 has dominated women’s tennis for around 20 years now. Further, her ability to rise through various adversities makes her truly special.

The younger Williams sister has won an incredible 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most in the Open Era. Moreover, she is just one major title away from equaling Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slam titles. Additionally, she has also teamed up with her elder sister Venus to win 14 Grand Slam doubles titles. Serena also has 4 Olympic gold medals and is one of the most decorated players in the history of the game.

Apart from her success in tennis, Serena has also launched her clothing brand ‘S by Serena’. Recently, she introduced a new set of collections to the brand.

Serena Williams designs a new collection of dresses

The 40-year-old took to Instagram to update her fans about the new collection by her brand. She posted the photo with the caption that read, “I designed a collection of dresses inspired by strong women and our ability to show up as our best selves, always.”

Serena set to make a comeback

Serena Williams has been out of action for over seven months now. She was last seen in action at Wimbledon in June last year. However, she had to retire in the first round thereafter, suffering a hamstring injury. Her long absence from the tour has resulted in her ranking going down to Number 241 in the world.
