This Croatian player was born to very supportive parents, who always encouraged her tennis journey. Her father, Igor Vekic, is the CEO of ECM Global DOO and he was also a footballer. On the other hand, her mother Brankica Vekic, was a former track and hurdle athlete, participating in many 400-meter and 100-meter events at both national and international levels.
