American tennis legend Serena Williams recently retired from tennis. In her 27-year-long career, Serena had some amazing rivalries. While the legend entertained with her toughness on the court, she also made some great friends. Serena and former Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki are great friends.

The two have always backed each other in difficult situations. When Serena played her last tournament, Wozniacki was present at the Arthur Ashe stadium. Serena also did something similar for Wozniacki back in 2014.

As Wozniacki completed her marathon run, Serena took to her Twitter account and wrote, “Is it normal to cry when someone finished marathon? So proud of you caro @CaroWozniacki #nycmarathon”

Serena Williams was there for Wozniacki when she suffered a heartbreak

Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki‘s friendship dates a long way back. In the year 2014, Wozniacki was all set to marry golfer Rory McIlroy. However, he broke up with the Danish player on a phone call just a few days before their marriage.

The sudden breakup shattered Wozniacki, and she locked herself up and wasn’t replying to the phone calls. Serena reached out to her and made a vacation plan to comfort her friend. Later, the tennis stars set on a trip to Miami beach, and Serena somehow managed to bring back the smile on her face.
