The young American star, Coco Gauff, is quite active on social media, whether it’s on Instagram, Twitter, or creating videos for TikTok. Recently, though, she made mention of her interest in TikTok and her willingness for Jessica Pegula, her doubles partner, to use the same platform.

On the tennis court, the 18-year-old has had a fantastic year. Gauff and Pegula won the Women’s doubles at the San Diego Open recently, after winning the Canadian Open earlier this year. Both young tennis players will be seen competing against well-known professionals in the recent WTA Finals.

Coco Gauff wants Jessica to join TikTok

The 18-year-old, Gauff was questioned about exchanging TikTok trends with her 28-year-old doubles partner during the press conference for the WTA Finals, which are about to begin. Gauff reacted by saying that she prefers the sound of the music that plays throughout the videos on TikTok.

In between their practices, sometimes the tennis player shares those videos with her doubles partner. She even recalled a conversation similar to the incident and called it an awkward conversation. She said, “What? I’m, like, You’ve never seen that? She’s, like, No. Then I feel like, (indiscernible), okay (laughing). Then it becomes awkward.”

Further, she added, “Then I’ll show her the sounds or whatever, and then it will make sense. She’s not on TikTok at all. If you follow her on Instagram, she’s barely on there (laughing). I would say Twitter is her most-used platform, and it’s still not used a lot. So maybe I can get her on TikTok, eventually. I doubt It.”

The 28-year-old American star is not much active on social media. However, the younger tennis player wishes to bring her doubles partner to the video hosting platform.

The top-ranked American and her younger tennis partner qualified for the WTA Finals, which starts this week.
