During the ‘Black Girls Texting Podcast’, Serena talked about a variety of subjects in her career. When asked about why confidence bothers some people, Serena said, “People are afraid when you can do something and they’ll tell you that you can’t and they take, they must take confidence for something else and when someone tells you that you can’t do something that’s really them saying that you can’t do it, they can’t do it and so, in other words, they’re putting that into people saying that you can’t do it and no actually you can’t it’s not me.”

Further, she added, Venus said that and it really resonated with me so much and I was like that makes, that’s like the best thing I’ve heard and so and it’s so true so yeah I just feel like people if you want to have confidence then that’s okay to have confidence you know.”
