Elena Rybakina is one of the few talents in the world who was just made for sports. Rybakina plays tennis like no other, and she has the mettle and trophies to prove it. In a recent interview, Rybakina talked about another sport she would love to take up. This response came after the interviewer asked her about a famous Kazakhstani boxer, Gennadiy Golovkin in the post-match press conference of her second-round victory.
While Rybakina could take up the fighting sport, she is not the only tennis player who plans on changing careers. Its a stronger message than the world number 4, Venus Williams suggested that she and her sister, Serena Williams, could take up another physical challenge soon.

Rybakina answered that she knew who Golovkin was, but she had never met him; she adored him regardless. She further said that she has never tried boxing but thinks she can be good since boxing and tennis are reactive sports.
“Well, of course, I know Gennadiy. I never met him, but, yeah, he is great. And, also, I mean, I never tried boxing, to be honest. Maybe it will be good for me to try. I think it’s very reactive sport. Also as tennis, you need to react and think really quick, so maybe I try one day.”

Williams sisters conquering another sport?

A big fan of the field, the elder Williams sister said that both of them could go take a shot at pumping iron to reach the top in a different sport. She added that it could be an option, as they have the freedom of exploration now.
