We all know that Aryna Sabalenka and Paula Badosa are ‘soulmates.‘ But recently, the duo welcomed another friend to the group. It is none other than Ons Jabeur. And soon after that, a new update on the “best friend” dynamic further intrigued the fans.
While Aryna Sabalenka is away, Ons Jabeur has declared that her new best friend on tour is Paula Badosa! The duo was practicing before their upcoming tournament at the Italian Open. During a break, a camera caught both of them chatting before Jabeur declared, pointing to herself, “Best friend on tour.”
Although Sabalenka and Badosa have been friends for over three or four years, Ons Jabeur’s entry into the group is recent. But she instantly connected with the duo. And showcasing their bond, the trio is often seen having a great time together. Even last month, Badosa posted an Instagram story with the trio having a fun moment together, with each of them chuckling. She captioned the story, “Friendship”.

But that is not it. Apart from the trio, Badosa and Jabeur also spent a lot of time together. Especially during the Charleston Open practice sessions. And they posted about their fun moments during the training through social media posts.

A few weeks ago, Jabeur, who said she loves both of them, also stated the role she plays in the duo’s (Sabalenka and Badosa) friendship. “They’re both kids, you know, so I’m here as a psychologist between them,” stated Jabeur.
However, it is time for Jabeur to steal a few moments with Badosa. But the question on our minds is: Where is Aryna Sabalenka? Well, the duo answered that question as well in the video.

Paula Badosa says that Sabalenka is now celebrating her birthday in Madrid
The story of Jabeur and Badosa’s “best friend” moment did not end there. Both of them shared quite a bit of laughter while recalling Sabalenka. Badosa further added, “Aryna, I don’t know where she is. She’s still celebrating her birthday. And to this, Badosa replied, “Birthday in Madrid.”
As rightly pointed out by Jabeur, Sabalenka turned 26 the day after her final match against Iga Swiatek. She did not win her third title, but in an interview, she mentioned that she would forget about it soon. She will be celebrating her birthday before heading to the Italian Open. But, until she returns, Jabeur and Badosa enjoy each other’s company. However, hopefully, the trio will come back together soon to share more moments of friendship and laughter.
