The tennis star wore commendable outfits complimenting her sister Serena Williams and her family during her father’s movie release almost a year ago. King Richard’s film is based on Venus and Serena Williams’ father’s journey. And how he always dreamt of his daughter’s becoming the greatest tennis player even when they were young.

Venus Williams talked about her struggles with getting ready

During her recent interaction in the podcast show, the tennis player was asked about her amazing ‘King Richards’ premier looks and the struggle that went behind getting those looks together.

Seven-time Grand Slam winner had a stylist work on her appearance and the desired hairstyle for the tennis player. She also expressed gratitude to everyone who has assisted her over the season. She said, “But I have to tell you, for me, hair makeup is too much. I can’t, it’s just so much worse.” Further, the American tennis player said that she is not much of a hair and makeup person and doesn’t like it much.

She added, “I think, ladies, to get ready. It’s hard. The hair takes hours. For some reason, makeup takes hours. For some, getting dressed takes, like, half an hour. You’re like, how can it take this long to get dressed? And then by that time, you’re so late, you’re running out the door, and you can barely get there. It’s all a nightmare. It’s like Cinderella over and over and over. When you come back, you got one shoe because you don’t even know you got there on time. I don’t know.” Williams addressed the whole process of becoming representable as tough and sometimes it’s just a nightmare to go round and round doing the same.

Williams’ Braids are a true throwback to the 90s

During King Richard’s Hollywood premiere, the seven-time Grand Slam champion served looks with her famous hairstyle. However, it was not just any ordinary look she wore braids decorated with beads.
