Amanda Anisimova talked about making friends on tour

In that interview, Amanda talked about the difficulties of making a friend on the Tour. According to her, if it was a team sport, she would make a lot of friends. However, that’s not the case in tennis as she felt it’s hard to connect with anyone because they have to do everything on their own.

“I think it’s hard because it’s not like a team sport. I think, if it was a team sport, it would be so much easier. At least if there are a couple of tournaments in the year where we like, play it as a team, cause we do everything on our own, makes it like harder for us to connect,” Amanda said

The interview was pretty fun to watch as she revealed her secret talent. “Probably I can do fitness and go on my phone at the same time. Can do like a side plank and just scroll through Instagram… a pretty huge talent (laughing)… Don’t show this to my coaches. They don’t know about this talent. That stays here,” Amanda revealed.

Can Amanda become the next big thing in tennis?

Amanda has great potential to become a top tennis star. Currently ranked 41, Amanda beat the 4-time Grand Slam winner, Naomi Osaka, in the third round of the Australian Open to cause a massive upset.

Previously, the American reached the semi-final at the French Open in 2019 to announce herself to the world. She also reached the 4th round at the Australian Open in 2019. If she can stay healthy and work on her game, she will become a Grand Slam winner in the future for sure.
