British tennis star Emma Raducanu is one of the best young tennis players at the moment in the women’s circuit. The 19-year-old rose to fame after winning last year’s US Open. However, the young Briton has failed to recreate the magic this year. Recently, she crashed out of French Open 2022 after losing her second-round match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus.

The 19-year-old has struggled with a dip in form coupled with injuries. Also, the Brit is often criticized for her frequent coaching changes. She parted ways with Torben Beltz and has been without a coach since then. With Wimbledon approaching, the US Open champion is preparing for the grass-court Grand Slam by playing in the Nottingham Open, where she answered some questions.
Raducanu on her next coach
Replying to the question regarding her next coach, the current world number 11 said,
“I want to take my time with this decision. Nothing has changed, I still have the same people, good people, around me. I don’t want to rush into anything.”
Adding to that, the British rising star said that she has full confidence in what she is doing and it is okay for her to take her time.
“Personally, I think I know what I’m doing. I’m trusting what I’m doing and the work I’m doing. I’m still 19 and I’ve already won a Grand Slam, so I can take my time and put things in place because I know my motivation isn’t any less.”
Even though Raducanu has failed to impress in recent games, she will be a force to recon in the upcoming Wimbledon Championship.
