Emma Raducanu opens up on her favorite drink

During a pre-tournament event, an interviewer asked Emma about her favorite drink. She smiled and said, “Well, actually I don’t really drink. I’m kind of boring. But yesterday, girls gave me a version of margarita. So, I didn’t know if it was real or not because I’ve never had tequila before. So I can’t really taste the difference (laughs).”

The British star is the top-seeded in the WTA 250 tournament in Mexico. She will look to win her first tournament of this season here. However, she will face a stiff challenge from the second seed Madison Keys, who had a brilliant Australian Open campaign. In the opening round, Emma will take on Daria Saville of Australia.

Raducanu’s 2022 season

The US Open champion has had a disappointing start to this season. In her first tournament of the year, the Sydney Tennis Classic, she lost in the first round to Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.
