Last year, when a Twitter user shared an interview with one of the world’s richest men, Jeff Bezos, they talked about competing against one of the established brands, Barnes & Noble. In that interview, he talked about how his employees should not be worried about their competitors, as they would not give any monetary benefits to the company, but customers would.

The Reddit co-founder quoted the executive chairman’s words and praised his compassion on Twitter. He wrote, “Make something your customers love. If you can do this, your competition doesn’t matter.” Ohanian praised Bezos’s strategy regarding how fighting with the competitor is not important when you are trying to fulfill the customer’s needs.
